This is one of my favorite places to go on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon with the family. It is an orchard/brewery that has farm animals for the kids to see and pet, open grounds for the kids to run around, live music and of course, beer! Apple picking and tractor rides in the fall…it is so fun and relaxed except, of course, when your daughter is trying to hug a goat and almost gets bit. The only good thing about having to cancel shoots due to the threat of rain all weekend is that I get to spend time with my family…and rain was an asset in this case!

Shooting for myself is something I enjoy so much and will never stop doing. Sometimes I can be exhausted from a weekend full of client shoots but I try to keep the camera close by as much as possible during family time. My girls are the reason I started this journey to begin with and I would be doing them an injustice if I did not capture as many moments of their childhood as possible.
