Oh how I love these kind of weekends. Spending time with my family, well, today it was just my girls since hubby was off DJing a wedding up in NH. What better way to spend a 90 degree day than by the lake?! Ok – well, by the ocean would have been a million times better BUT have to take what I can get knowing I would have to be home before the little one turned into a monster because she didn’t get a nap. Never did I think I would ever be saying that I brought the two girls out in public all by myself and I was 100% relaxed and had a great time. For those who know her, Ava can be a little difficult at times but today she was completely independent, playing in the sand all by herself while Isabella found some friends and was busy playing dolphin tag or something to that effect. I figured that since Daddy was missing out on the happenings of the day, I would bring along my camera (ok, well, even if he was here, I would have still brought my camera). I am also becoming addicted to black and white photography. I always start processing my images in color but something magic happens as soon as I convert to black and white.
